Needless to say, when it was announced that Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross would be scoring the soundtrack for new David Fincher film, The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, after winning an Academy Award for their score for Fincher’s last film, The Social Network, the entire music community has been waiting breathlessly for the movie to come out. Even more anticipation built when we discovered that he and Yeah Yeah Yeahs frontwoman Karen O would be collaborating on a reinterpretation of Led Zeppelin’s “The Immigrant Song.”
The first preview of the cover is now online in the form of a bootlegged trailer for the film, which is available below. Thank goodness for bootleggers! The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, the “Feel Bad Movie of Christmas,” comes out in December.
