Well isn’t that sweet? To show their appreciation to their swarms of fans, The Strokes sent all supporters that pre-ordered their album a video that Albert Hammond Jr. put together for “Call Me Back.”
It’s an unofficial video, following mysterious spheres that eventually lead up to a woman standing there, looking right at you as she gets drenched in water. It’s always about a girl isn’t it? The PMA approved Angles came out two week ago, “Call Me Back” definitely one of the more interesting numbers, lacking in percussion of any kind, Julian Cassablancas’ vocals sounding slightly distorted, per usual.
