Despite what you might assume, Win Win isn’t the new-rave project of Arcade Fire’s Win Butler and his evil twin – it’s fronted by XXXchange of Spank Rock production fame and fleshed out by a few more beatmakers of status. You might’ve heard their self-titled record last year, but these guys aren’t taking a break: you can now sample the self-titled track from their follow-up EP, Ones and Zeroes. “Once and Zeroes” the song sounds like its title – processed staccato vocals sound like a mechanical love child engineered by Fatboy Slim and Talking Heads, interwoven synths echo over jittery, futuristic beats. Check it out, and then sample the rest of the EP, which is out now.
