I absolutely couldn't care less about the language of the lyrics. I enjoy music, not poetry. Nothing against poetry, but I'm pretty sure we're discussing music here. These melodies and rhythms are a sweet tonic for any ailment. Mwamwaya's voice is a beam of radiant light that just can't be dimmed. Maybe it is just me, but I am glad that they sing mostly in Chichewa, as I focus on the amazing voices and the sweet melodies/rhythms that this album has to offer. It's not often an album almost entirely sung in what I assume to be Chichewa, the native language of Malawi, would become so popular. It really is a great album though.
