This one comes just a day after The Weeknd teased a new track called “John Carpenter.” Like the best Weeknd guest spots, we get a pure 90 seconds of Abel Tesfaye in his druggy wheelhouse. French Montana, a tourist in his own single if we’re being honest, does right by the reverb-drenched ambiance of “Gifted.” The best part is, of course, Tesfaye’s incredible hook:

I’m Gifted when I’m Faded / I’m Faded all the time / ’cause I know that’s when they love me / They love me when I’m high / When they love me I get money, I get money, I get money”

Although it’s more of a Weeknd song, “Gifted” will appear on French Montana’s upcoming LP, Pardon My French on May 21st. The Weeknd’s own Kiss Land is out later this year.
