A couple of weeks ago, Kanye West and Lady GaGa announced that they are going on tour together. “Details are still sketchy, but West said, “She’s talented and so incredible that she’s not an opening act. We’re doing it together, with no opening act.” Perez Hilton says that Gaga and Yeezy will instead spend the entire show onstage performing together” according to Rolling Stone.
Watching Kanye and GaGa perform together on stage might just be the best thing ever. I love Kanye and his Glow in the Dark Tour was great, but going to see Lady GaGa live again is my biggest incentive for going. As far as I can tell, she knows how to put on a show! For years, Britney Spears (Oops!… I Did It Again, Slave 4 U) and Beyonce (Ring The Alarm) have been lauded for their electrifying live performances on award shows and on tour, but I haven’t seen anyone throw it down like Lady GaGa since Madonna herself.

and her amazing performance of “LoveGame/Poker Face” on the MuchMusic Video Awards a few days ago.

Fire-boobs and holographic girls? I’m in! Will you be attending this conglomeration of pop sensations?

OMG! I didn’t even know they were supposed to be touring together! I die. I die.
I’m not a huge fan of Lady GaGa, but maaaaan! those videos fucking rock! she’s quite the character.
eh, i have a problem with her. Yes, the performances were good… great even, but it’s too much like what Madonna’s been doing for decades… and far better, might I add.
At least Britney and Beyonce had their owns styles. Hell, GaGa’s “LoveGame” performance was a bit “Ring The Alarm”-esque..
Oh, but yes, I’m DEFINITELY going to their show
I might just go to hear lady gaga scream like that during Poker Face.
Lady GaGa is the QUEEN OF POP! Period.
Hey Xypher,
It’s a bit too early to make claims like that.
She sure knows how to rock out in that metal suit. Fire-Boobs = always a good thing.
wow. she really outdid Madonna w/ the cone boobs that spit fire.
lady gaga is no where near the queen of pop title. madonna holds that alone. ‘though madonna may have declined from the blonde ambition and confessions years, she’s done more for music than lady gaga has. not to say lady gaga isn’t great. let’s just not make comparisons to her and madonna. maybe a gaga and britney spears comparison is more fitting. can you tell i’m a madonna fan? jaja.
