Devendra Banhart’s seventh record Mala has been one of our most anticipated releases of the year thanks to its excellent singles like “Never Seen Such Good Things.” Thanks to NPR, you can now stream the whole record. It definitely lives up to our lofty expectations – close your eyes and imagine watching a busker in a foreign city at night, all haunting instrumentals, moody tones, and fragile, sweet vocals, and you might be able to approximate what Banhart’s up to here. From the opening chords of “Golden Girls,” we’re hooked. Check it out – if you’ve got your heart set on a physical copy, it’ll be available March 12.
