As we all now know, Arcade Fire will be releasing their hugely anticipated third album, The Suburbs on August 3rd– and you’ve already heard the two new songs, “The Suburbs” and “Month of May” — it’s time to go see Arcade Fire’s sublime and cathartic live show.

The band has a handful of European festival dates scheduled in late June and July, but not before playing two shows in Quebec, the band’s grand return to the stage. On August 1st, the band will play Boston’s 5000 capacity Bank of America Pavilion. Arcade Fire will then be joined by Spoon to perform in several high capacity arenas in Philadelphia, Columbia, MD, Atlanta and New York City’s historic Madison Square Garden. BrooklynVegan reports that tickets for the New York date will cost $49.50. Tickets go on AmEx presale on June 9th, Fanclub presale June 10th and general sale on June 12th.
