It’s Grammy season! We’ll spare you the complete list of nominees and give you a run-down of our favorite artists who are up for awards, however esoteric, at the ceremony on February 10. Frank Ocean’s Channel Orange has been nominated for a whopping six, including Album of the Year and Best New Artist. The Black Keys are up for six as well, also including Album of the Year, and Miguel for five (including Song of the Year for “Adorn”). Meanwhile, Fiona Apple, Bjork, M83, Tom Waits, and Gotye will contest for Best Alternative Album while Dirty Projectors and St. Vincent and David Byrne will battle it out with Aimee Mann, Bjork, and Alabama Shakes for Best Recording Packaging, which is apparently a category.
