You might’ve missed Australian pop quartet Twerps‘ self-titled 2011 record, so here’s your second chance to fall hard for these guys’ (and girl’s) effortlessly interwoven guitar licks and irresistible bouncy jangle – here’s the a-side, “He’s In Stock,” from an upcoming 7″ titled Work It Out. Catchy indie pop songs about drugs aren’t exactly few and far between, but there’s something special about this one’s bratty, playful drive and brash, college-rock guitar tone. We’re particularly loving the distorted, droning hum that buzzes below each verse and breaks at select intervals into a bubbly riff. Work It Out drops September 18.
