Word is that Daft Punk have a record coming out later this year, and we now know, for sure, who it will be distributed by. Columbia are the lucky major label, as the French house duo confirmed today. The news was broadcast with typical Daft Punk style, as all they simply updated their website to an image of their helmets and the Columbia logo. Here’s to hoping the next update is a single release.

Listen to a rare seven minute track Daft Punk made way back in 1994, which was unearthed not too long ago on a compilation for early DP champions, Soma Records.
