David Bowie is the kind of artist whose music you really never stop playing, even if he doesn’t release an album for a decade and becomes a public recluse. Not three hours after I listened to a friend play “Cat People,” word hit the internet that the sixty-six year old legend would be releasing a new album in March, and had already let fly a new single. “Where Are We Now” sees Bowie in one his more melancholic moods, recalling his time spent in Berlin. Check out the unforgettably strange video below.

“Sitting in the dschungel / on nurnberger strasse / a man lost in time / near Kadewe / Just walking the dead”

Charlotte Aitchison’s second LP is a warhead, a sonic sour bomb that conceals sneering attitude and caustic kiss-offs beneath an initially shimmering pop sheen.
