EP Stream: How to destroy angels_ – “An omen_”

How to destroy angels_ (don’t forget the lowercase and the underscore) is Nine Inch Nails’ Trent Reznor alongside his wife, Mariqueen Maandig, and longtime collaborators like Atticus Ross and David Sheridan, and their new EP An omen_ is available for streaming now via Hype Machine.

Definitely stream it unless you’re driving alone at night or you’ve lost power in your house, otherwise you might inadvertently summon some demons – Maandig sings in a sweet, confessional soprano about wind getting colder and crashing waves as Reznor, Ross, and Sheridan weave a vividly creepy-gorgeous soundscape behind her.

Our first-listen favorite is the sublime seven-minute “Ice Age,” but definitely stream the complete EP if you have time.
