Sky Ferreira's new EP Ghost is just short of nineteen minutes long, and only about four of those minutes are her big, anthemic single "Everything is Embarrassing." The whole thing, though, capitalizes on what she did so well in that song - her music is hyper-catchy, excellently produced, brilliantly constructed pop, but it's also deeply melancholic. On Ghost, which is available to stream in its entirety now, Ferreira sings about dreaming about losing someone she loves, being lost inside her head, losing her mind over a relationship - you get the gist - over tracks that range from acoustic guitar ballads (you can feel the hand of producer Cass McCoombs on first track "Sad Dream" and the title track) to the driving, clubby electronica that'll appeal to fans of the single. It's an impressive display of her range and talent - we're psyched to see more. Check out "Everything Is Embarrassing" and "Red Lips" below, stream the EP here.
