To say FKA twigs is one of our favorite new artists would be possibly the understatement of the century. The mysterious Londoner’s a genius, and every one of the scant few tracks we’ve heard from her so far has been game-changing. Case in point: the two new songs she released today from her upcoming EP2, “Ultraviolet” and the Arca co-produced “Papi Pacify.” There’s no excuse for you not to listen to “Ultraviolet” literally right now – Twigs really knows how to do a lot with a little, as evidenced by the chilling vibe she summons with some pitchshifted vocals and sirening synths – but you’ll probably want to wait until you get home to check out the breathtaking, sexy “Papi Pacify” and its attendant is-it-romantic-or-is-it-extremely-not .gif-heavy video, starring Twigs (who also co-directed with Tom Beard) and a muscled guy obsessed with putting his fingers in her mouth. It’s probably a contender for our favorite song released this year. Check it out - EP2 is out next week.
