You’re probably already planning on tuning into the Super Bowl to watch Beyonce’s set, but you might not have heard that you’ll also see at least sixty seconds of a Flaming Lips performance in a Hyundai ad. They’ll perform “Sun Blows Up Today,” which will also show up as an exclusive track on their just-announced record The Terror. It’s a fun track, glitchy and catchy like you might imagine post-apocalyptic top 40 would be. The track comes along with an awesomely animated lyric video so you can learn all the words before the ad airs. Check it out – The Terror is out April 2.
New: Flaming Lips – “Sun Blows Up Today”
Raekwon, Killer Mike, Pusha T, Danny Brown, YG, Action Bronson, Young Thug, and more show up.
He also makes a quick cameo as a detective.
“Bubs” is a collaboration with PC Music’s A.G. Cook.
Another new track to follow up last week’s “A Kick To The Face.”
Charlotte Aitchison’s second LP is a warhead, a sonic sour bomb that conceals sneering attitude and caustic kiss-offs beneath an initially shimmering pop sheen.
From his still-unannounced new album, featuring Thundercat, Bilal and production from Astronote.
With help from Vampire Weekend’s Rostam Batmanglij and an amazing piano.
