The Governors Ball Music festival have announced their 2013 lineup, and, well, they killed it. Kanye West (by himself for the first time since ’08), Animal Collective, Kings of Leon, The XX, Kendrick Lamar, Grizzly Bear, Beach House, Cut Copy, Erykah Badu, Twin Shadow, Deerhunter, Yeasayer, Japandroids, Dirty Projectors, Iconapop and Haim were the ones that jumped out to us, and we have to add to my list every time I look at their full list again. It’s a fairly absurd lineup, sure to promise a good time to anyone who makes it to Randall’s Island, NYC that first weekend in June. Early bird tickets go on sale for $190 on January 25. And they still have yet to announce the third headliner!

Charlotte Aitchison’s second LP is a warhead, a sonic sour bomb that conceals sneering attitude and caustic kiss-offs beneath an initially shimmering pop sheen.
