Jai Paul, donning an ancient Hindu symbol for good fortune

We haven’t heard a peep from mysterious R&B artist Jai Paul since that unauthorized leak of his “debut album” back in 2013. (His last official release, his second single “Jasmine”, was put out in March of 2012.) Today, we get that peep. Sort of. Paul has launched a new project called Paul Institute with his brother, A.K. Paul, who is best known for the Nao collaboration “So Good”. 

Here’s the thing: no one knows what Paul Institute is supposed to be. It could be a new collective, an album, a record label, or all or none of the above. For now, you can head over onto PI’s website and give them your phone number, though they won’t tell you why they need it. It’s a bit creepy, but it might just be worth it.
