Having just released his critically maligned, largely misguided WZRD album with Dot Da Genius, the ever confident Kid Cudi has announced a new album on Twitter today. According to the the Tweet, the album will be called Indicud and the rapper even boasts that it contains his “best work” yet, something he said about WZRD (though to be fair, most rappers frequently employ hyperbole when talking about themselves). Cudi fans are thrilled at the prospect of a second album this year, but given the delayed nature of hip hop releases, we doubt Indicud will see the light of day in 2012.

Back in April, Kid Cudi dropped an unattached, self-produced new track “Dennis, Hook Me Up With Some More Of That Whiskey!” No word if it will make Indicud or not. Listen below:

Charlotte Aitchison’s second LP is a warhead, a sonic sour bomb that conceals sneering attitude and caustic kiss-offs beneath an initially shimmering pop sheen.
