There really is no point in us writing about Lady Gaga's new album, ARTPOP, because we could never hope to rival the ridiculousness of sentences like "we bring ARTculture into POP in a reverse Warholian expedition." Reverse Warholian expedition!
So it's better you hear it from Team Gaga's recently circulated statement:
There's a lot of gibberish here, so the key facts are these:
Lady Gaga's long-delayed ARTPOP will be out November 11.
It'll be released concurrently with an ARTPOP app, which hopes to make this album feel like the future, even though Björk did it two years ago.
The first single will be released on August 19.
In related news, after some medical troubles earlier in the year, Gaga will officially return to the stage in September the iTunes Festival at Camden Roundhouse in London. Though we are already expecting a larger than life spectacle, we are shocked at the performance's budget. According to Britain's The Sun, "the Haus of Gaga team are tipped to have a budget of £500,000 ($759,000) on the production."
