M83’s hyper-acclaimed 2011 release Hurry Up, We’re Dreaming came with an excellent hidden track called “Mirror” that few noticed, but in honor of Record Store Day (4/21) the band’s making it available on 7” vinyl, limited to only 2,000 copies. If you don’t have a record player lying around or just don’t feel like waiting until April to pick it up, you can stream the track now.
It’s a literally epic six minutes of Caribou-esque tribal jam, complete with massive percussion, a steel drum-esque backbeat, and plenty of shimmering layers of atmospheric guitar. Check it out.
