New Radiohead Album Out This Year?

Radiohead guitarist, Ed O’Brien revealed to BBC Radio 6, that Radiohead are in the tail-end stages of recording their new LP. O’Brien called the new music “genuinely exciting… very different from [In Rainbows].”

O’Brien also went to say that the band enjoyed the recording sessions for LP 8 a lot more than the sessions that would eventually make up, In Rainbows. In fact, the band hated the sessions that made In Rainbows so much that last August, front-man Thom Yorke told the media that Radiohead would not release another album ever again. Something must have changed because O’Brien reports that the album could be released within “a matter of weeks”. Should we expect a rush delivered, name-your-price, In Rainbow-esque deal for LP 8?
