She & Him have released a new video for their Volume Two standout “Thieves”. The video — which probably cost $50 (yay! low recoup-able income!!!) — features Zooey Deschanel, looking as beautiful as ever, and M. Ward inexplicably communicating with their children selves. Are the thieves (among us) trying to steal our inner-children? Did this video accurately depict the first ever text message? Who really knows? Someone likes German Expressionist films. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a video quite like this. I feel like Nosferatu is going to jump out from nowhere and suck some blood. That’s enough nerding out from me. Great vid, Great post!
