The story so far, when it comes to Aphex Twin'sCaustic Windows - the LP was recorded in 1994 then scrapped until a single test pressing was released on Discogs earlier this year, priced at $13,500. Fans started a Kickstarter to buy the rights to the album and distribute a digital copy to supporters who paid upwards of $16, and one of those supporters has uploaded the record to YouTube, for you to listen to for free (if you're intent on spending money, you can still bid on the test press on eBay - it's currently at $10,100). It's a fascinating listen that seems way ahead of its time - those skittering beats and deep bass tones sound right out of something very contemporary. Check it out below.
