Before all of that nonsense with The War on Drugs began, Sun Kil Moon actually released one of the best and most singular albums of 2014 in Benji, and now he's really to release its follow-up. On June 2, Universal Themes will be released. It's an 8 track effort that features "The Possum," the ambitious single SKM released in November, as well as songs with titles like "This Is My First Day and I'm Indian and I Work at a Gas Station" and "Cry Me a River Williamsburg Sleeve Tattoo Blues." It also features percussion by Sonic Youth’s Steve Shelley. Revisit "The Possum" while you peruse the tracklist:

Universal Themes:
The Possum
Birds of Flims
With a Sort of Grace I Walked to the Bathroom to Cry
Garden of Lavender
Cry Me a River Williamsburg Sleeve Tattoo Blues
Ali/Spinks 2
Little Rascals
This Is My First Day and I'm Indian and I Work at a Gas Station
