The-Dream promised he’d release a new single in time for Valentine’s Day, and lo and behold, he did – here’s “Slow It Down” in case you didn’t hear it last night. It’s the first cut from his upcoming record Fourplay, and it’s a pretty irresistible track for all those who have ever wished for a slow jam at the club. There’s some hilarious one-liners (“if you was my girl and you left me I’d be sad / and for that, lemme see that ass”) and some good advice (“just keep on doing that thing; you do you!”) and a catchy chorus, which in the end is all we can ask for. Fabolous gets a solid verse in too. Fourplay is out May 7.
