We’re not sure if F. Scott Fitzgerald is rolling in his grave or if he’d be as psyched as we are about this news regarding Baz Luhrmann’s film adaptation of his novel The Great Gatsby and its star-studded soundtrack. Basically, everyone from Jay-Z to the xx to Lana Del Rey will have songs in the film, Beyonce and Andre 3000 are covering Amy Winehouse’s “Back to Black,” and Fergie’s contributed a number called “A Little Party Never Killed Nobody,” which (spoiler alert) is pretty much the opposite of the moral of the novel. You can preview the Winehouse cover, Lana’s track, and Florence and the Machine’s song in a new trailer that was released today. Check it out.

Charlotte Aitchison’s second LP is a warhead, a sonic sour bomb that conceals sneering attitude and caustic kiss-offs beneath an initially shimmering pop sheen.
