And so, the first video from the National’s endlessly beautiful High Violet LP has arrived. I thing about music videos not living up to their aural counter parts, in terms of quality, but there is absolutely nothing to worry about with National’s clip for their Violet lead single “Bloodbuzz Ohio”. The video was directed by Hope hall, Andreas Burgess & Carin Besser. High Violet is out TODAY. You can order the CD or LP from Insound and get a really nifty City Lights T-Shirt.
