Fans of Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz rejoice! The World’s End, the final installment of Edgar Wright and Simon Pegg‘s so called Three Flavours Cornetto Trilogy, is almost in theaters. The genre-blending trilogy has been a sort of cult favorite for years now, and after pairing slacker movie tropes with zombies (Shaun), and buddy cop tropes with nutty conspiracies theories (Fuzz), we’re psyched to see how Wright and Pegg‘s blend of the old friend reunion story and an alien invasion plays out. The film isn’t out until August 23rd stateside (19 July in the UK), but we’ve got the details on its soundtrack to keep us warm at night.

Given that the film is centered around a reunion between a group of old friends in England, it makes sense that the soundtrack focuses on 80s and 90s British rock acts like The Stone Roses, Pulp, Blur, Suede and The Sisters Of Mercy. Some pop acts also make an appearance – Kylie Minogue, Soul II Soul and Saint Etienne. Then we have the kind of left-field (though not thematically) inclusion of “Alabama Song (Whisky Bar)” by The Doors.

The soundtrack is out July 29th in the UK, but no official release date has been given for the US release yet. You can check out the full tracklisting below, and also stream some key tracks:
