We found out a few weeks back that Yeah Yeah Yeahs were planning on releasing their follow-up to 2009′s hit-laiden It’s Blitz as soon as this spring, and today the band let loose a few key details, like the album title (Mosquito), release date (April 16), and the weird-as-fuck album cover (above).
But, wait, it gets better; over the weekend, Karen O and the gang performed a couple of new tunes from the album in Pamona, Ca. The two songs are apparently called “Mosquito” and “Earth.” Here is the recorded evidence:
