We’re so psyched to announce that we’re presenting The Danger Village (#PMAVILLAGE) during SXSW next week, with a little help from our friends at Danger Village and Shuffler.fm. We kick off festivities on Wednesday, March 13, at the Empire Control Room (formerly Lipstick24) from 1-6pm, and don’t worry, no RSVPs, badges, or wristbands are necessary, and it’s completely free. You’ll probably want to show up early though, because we’ve got a stacked-as-hell lineup featuring live sets from six of our favorite new artists, as well as DJ sets from Computer Magic and Noise Problem, and free #PMAVILLAGE Survival Kit goodie bags if you arrive in time. Let us know if you’re going on Facebook.

WHEN: Wednesday, March 13th. 1pm-6pm.

WHERE: Empire Control Room – 606 East 7th St. (btwn. Red River and Sabine), Austin, TX.

SET TIMES:
5:00 – ALPINE (Melbourne, AUS)
4:10 – (Copenhagen, DK)
3:20 – Empress Of (Brooklyn, NY)
2:30 – Goldroom (Los Angeles, CA)
1:50 – TORRES (Nashville, TN)
1:15 – FALLULAH (Copenhagen, DK)

Big ups to Orphan Elliott for designing the sick poster, and our partners UBER, who are hooking everyone up with $15 off your first ride when you use the discount code PRETTYDANGER.

Charlotte Aitchison’s second LP is a warhead, a sonic sour bomb that conceals sneering attitude and caustic kiss-offs beneath an initially shimmering pop sheen.
