MAGNETIC FIELDS

The Magnetic Fields will drop their tenth (you read that right) record, Love at the Bottom of the Sea, on March 6th, and we’re excited.

According to frontman Stephen Merritt, the band completed their no-synth trilogy with their 2010 record Realism, and the new record will return to the synth-pop sound that got their conceptual three-volume 1999 release 69 Love Songs so much attention. All the record’s fifteen songs are under three minutes, and they have titles like "God Wants Us To Wait" and “All She Cares About Is Mariachi.” Check out the tracklist below and we'll keep our ears to the ground for more news.
