Beirut has announced its fourth album, No No No, which is due out on September 11 on 4AD. This will be the band’s first album since their excellent 2011 effort The Rip Tide

According to its press release, No No No was created after central creative force Zach Condon went through a divorce and suffered a physical and mental breakdown in 2013. “I had completely broken down and my body was making me pay for it,” Condon said of the experience. “For the first time in my life, I was facing extreme self doubt. I had hit rock bottom.”

A new relationship provided Condon with a new outlook. “Having a positive presence like her both provides a healthy guiding force and shines a light on all the negative things in your life,” he said. “I definitely wouldn’t be where I am now without her.”
