Previously we heard Brian Eno's thunderous "2 Forms of Anger," from his upcoming Small Craft on a Milk Sea album. Two new tracks from the album has since then surfaced. The first, "Horse," lacks the distinctive guitar and percussion of "2 Forms"; instead Eno opted for three synth heavy minutes chock-full of melancholy, twitches and glitches. This, of course, brings to mind the work Flying Lotus has released in the passed year. "Horse" is made even more impressive by the other new Small Craft song made public, "Emerald and Stone". The piano piece is soothing and sublime, reminiscent of the work Eno made with Harold Budd in the 80s.

The three tracks we've heard from Small Craft on a Milk Sea thus far are vast in their differences, indicating that the album will be an emotional rollercoaster. The intensity of "2 Forms of Anger" is matched by the melancholy and paranoia of "Horse," and equated with the subtle beauty and peace of "Emerald and Stone". As different as the tracks may be, it's impossible not to hear Brian Eno's skillful hand in every nuanced crook and cranny of the music.
