Though Daft Punk's Tron Legacy wasn't the follow up to 2005's Human After All that we were all hoping for, and really just more of a soundtrack to the recent Disney film, it did indeed have its moments and was able to conjure up quite the storm, especially online. Recently we've learned that fellow DJ's would have the opportunity to reinterpret cuts from the album on Tron R3CONFIGUR3D, the remix album. Music Director Jason Bentley, who produced it, has just premiered the new version of “Fall,” what he claims is his favorite track off the album, reworked by M83 and Big Black Delta.

The song takes the grand symphonies from the original track and adds a wad of bass lines and big crushing synths to it. It's hefty in disco, and adds vocals as well, making it pretty much unrecognizable compared to the original, which ran a brief 1:23 and sounded more like a soundtrack than an actual song u could grind to, like this one. Tron Reconfigured is out April 5th and will also feature contributions from Chemical Method, Paul Oakenfold, Boys Noize and Moby.
