After the firestorming, eleven-minute noise-rock experiment that was "Human Sadness," Julian Casablancas + the Voidz have unveiled a somewhat more accessible (key word: somewhat) track from their upcoming LP Tyranny, "Where No Eagles Fly." I think I totally love this - with some metal-y double bass layered under a bubbly keyboard line recalling the Strokes' early records and Julian's heavily distorted vocals reigning supreme, there are about nine million things going on at once, and it somehow really, really works. Maybe it's that deeply irresistible bassline? Check it out below (spoiler: this is a lower quality radio rip) while you wait for the rest of the LP, out September 23rd.
Check out an everything-but-the-kitchen-sink noise-punk banger from Tyranny.
