2776 sounds like a great project - it's a collaborative comedy album put together to benefit education in impoverished areas, for which a diverse selection of comedians and musicians have put together their imaginings of American history, current events, and the future. Neko Case and her longtime collaborator Kelly Hogan have taken on the year 2091 for their hilarious track "These Aren't the Droids," which sees them decry a future designed by teenage guys, with plenty of sexy robots and chrome to prove it, and call for a feminine revolution to bring about a utopia with no waxing or shaving and Greco-Roman wrestling replacing war. Sounds great! Check it out below - 2776 is out July 1.
