Parquet Courts Sunbathing Animal

Parquet Courts are really good at a lot of things, but overall we think they're best at making songs for driving in the desert in the early morning - and if you don't get this, it's probably just because you haven't done it yet (seriously, try "Tears of Plenty" at 7:30am in Roswell, New Mexico, then get back to me). Here's another one for your road trip playlist, the seven-minute rambler "Instant Disassembly," which sees the guys loop a shambling guitar riff under frontman Andrew Savage's charmingly verbose ode to a particular mamacita and a house that collapses on itself in - you guessed it - instant disassembly. Check it out - this one'll be on the band's upcoming Sunbathing Animal, out June 3rd.
