FRANK OCEAN

Last time we heard a sneak peak at Frank Ocean’s unreleased oeuvre as Lonny Breaux, it was the Backstreet Boys reference track “PDA.” Now you can check out another old-school Breaux number, “Math,” which would fit just as well as its predecessor on MTV or Top 40 radio if it ever made it there – phaser-y synths and a manic, clattering backbeat give way to Ocean’s sweet, made-for-R&B pipes as he lays out his affection for someone in a series of mathematical metaphors: “I’d go through calculus to get you back!” We kind of wish this had made it real big: it’s perfect catchy pop. Check it out.
