Well this is an interesting concept. Drive, the film that stars heartthrobs Ryan Gosling and Bryan Cranston, had a pretty kick-ass soundtrack on its own, featuring music from Chromatics, Electric Youth and Kavinsky, to name a few. But now, BBC Radio 1's own Zane Lowe has embarked on creating a brand new soundtrack for the film, titled Radio 1 Rescores: Drive - Curated by Zane Lowe. The new compilation will feature brand new songs made specifically for this project from a score of trending artists and bands, including SBTRKT, The Neighbourhood, BANKS, Baauer, Foals, Jon Hopkins, CHRVCHES, and more. Today, Lowe unleashed "Get Away," CHRVCHES' contribution to the soundtrack, which you can hear below, but not before he called the project "the most ambitious, awesome thing we've ever done." Drive will also be broadcast on BBC Three on October 30th, allowing viewers to switch between the film's new, and original, soundtracks.
