We were pretty excited last month when singer/songwriter Jenny Lewis - who had basically disappeared after releasing 2008's Acid Tongue - announced her return to music by sharing a collaboration with Beck, which will appear on her forthcoming new album, The Voyager. A mere three days later, she shared a live version of the album's title track, a lovely, acoustic medley that (just from her vocals alone) merits several repeat listens. Now, Lewis has released the studio version of the song, a grand, majestic offering that allows you to really hear her thoughts and feelings. And, man, those strings! I haven't been this deeply moved since Neko Case put out The Worse Things Get.... Listen to it below; the much-anticipated The Voyager is out on July 29th via Warner Bros.
