Today's (and yesterday's) dose of cinematic badassery is brought to you by RZA's soundtrack to his upcoming Quentin Tarantino-cosigned directorial debut The Man With The Iron Fists. The latest track to drop from the collection is The Black Keys' collaboration with the grandmaster himself.
On "The Baddest Man Alive" RZA forgoes the Shaolin sound that he forged a career out of and instead builds the song around The Black Keys' own bluesy brand of rock. Not that we're picky, but this song sounds like something that should have been on the latest Django Unchained trailer instead of on the soundtrack of a violent, fantastical martial arts pastiche. Anyway, like we said, badassery awaits.
The Iron Fists soundtrack is out October 23rd, the film hits theaters November 2nd.
