Purity Ring'sPolaris Prize-nominated 2012 record Shrines has still got legs - the band's still touring the weirdly affecting, post-apocalyptic pop songs on the record, and Corin Roddick and Megan James' weird beats and unearthly vocals are still providing remixers with plenty of fodder. This take on album highlight "Amenamy" is by the renowned London producer Jon Hopkins, who cranks up the bass and slices up James' vocals into dizzying new rhythms. It's a fabulous remix, but really just has us psyched up for new material from Purity Ring - let's hope we get some soon. Check it out.
