SLEIGH BELLS BITTER RIVALS

Yeah, we love Sleigh Bells' barnburning distortion apocalypse numbers as much as the next blog, but we also love when Alexis Krauss and Derek Miller buckle down and get weird-flirty - case in point, here's "You Don't Get Me Twice," our second taste from the band's upcoming Bitter Rivals, wherein a snap-and-stomp beat backs up some unexpected instrumentation (is that a piano? is that an acoustic guitar?) and Krauss's vocals range, as they do best, from threatening to seductive in the space of seconds. "Don't do anything could be considered a sin," she croons toward the end of the track, and you're like, girl, don't worry about my soul. Check it out - Bitter Rivals is out October 8.
