St. Annie curates a mixtape for a woman and her grandmother's road trip

The second episode of St. Vincent’s excellent Beats 1 radio show, “St. Vincent’s Mixtape Delivery Service”, was broadcast last night (it’s on every Tuesday at 7pm Pacific, 10pm Eastern). In last week’s inaugural episode, Annie Clark made a mixtape for a precocious 11-year-old in love with dark synth music. In last night’s episode, St. Annie curated a mixtape for a woman and her grandmother’s upcoming cross-country trek.

The result? Perhaps the quintessential Americana road trip playlist.
