Beyonce / Justin Timberlake / Paul Rudd – Perfection

This has to be the most I’ve laughed whilst watching SNL all season. SURE their Election Coverage was giggle-worthy, and yes, Tina Fey and Sarah Palin are twins — but this was hilarious.

I’ve always loved Paul Rudd (seriously, what’s not to love?!) and I’ve always liked Beyonce. Justin Timberlake’s campy performance was just icing on an already delicious cake.

New Beyonce – Sweet Dreams

New Beyonce Sweet Dreams listen No, this isn’t Beyonce covering the Eurythmics’ “Sweet Dreams,” but seriously, how cool would that be? No, “Sweet Dreams,” formerly known as “Beautiful Nightmare,” is another leaked track off Beyonce’s November album I am… Sasha Fierce.

I am liking the electro-influences this track carries, it is such a refreshing change for Beyonce. I wish the album featured a bit more of this Jacques lu Cont-esque production.

Rihanna, eat your heart out. No, I love Rih Rih, and still hoping for a Rihanna / Beyonce duet. A real one, not a Breast Cancer Charity single.

Q&A Friday: Which Fourth Quarter Release Are You Most Excited About?

This week’s Q&A Friday is brought to you by Starbucks Chocolate! If you answer the questsion, you are entering yourself to win a Starbucks Chocolate Gift Package! Remember to enter your name and email address in the given fields.

2008’s album sales have been anything but great, despite this year’s big releases, like Lil Wayne’s The Carter III. But, as usual, the fourth quarter of the year is filled with some blockbuster gems. We’ve already seen what affect high-profile, old-school rockers like AC/DC (784,000 sold in first week) and Metallica (sold 490,000 in 3 days) had on the fourth-quarter album charts. It doesnt end there, with releases by Beyonce, The Killers, Kanye West, and Britney Spears this winter, we’re in for one hell of a finale for music in 2008.

Here’s a release guide for the fourth quarter most exciting albums. Continue reading →

New Beyonce – Single Ladies

New Beyonce Single Ladies listen

Along with “If I Were A Boy,” Beyonce has also released “Single Ladies” to promote her upcoming album.

To be honest, “Single Ladies” sort of sucks. It sounds like something to crawl up from the B’Day-rejects recycling bin. Even then, this new song doesn’t really compete with “Upgrade U” or “Get Me Bodied” (both exceptional tracks from B’Day.

But I do know some people enjoy the funky, upbeat Beyonce — which is what we have here. Listen to “Single Ladies” below.

New Beyonce – If I Were A Boy

New Beyonce If I Were A Boy listen

Here is the first of two new Beyonce songs that have hit the net. According to Pop Sugar, Beyonce has recorded over 70 songs for this next album. I’m sure that with all that material, releasing two singles at the same time was no big deal.

“If I Were A Boy” is an uninventive big voiced ballad a la Jennifer Hudson. I think I’ll always prefer Beyonce’s organic sound — guitars, simple percussion, strong, neutralizing backing vocals — opposed to her eccentric upbeat songs.

Beyonce (and Jacques lu Cont?) – Beautiful Nightmare

Beyonce

Here’s Beyonce grabbing her boob… wtf?

Rumor has it that Beyonce is working with grand master Jacques lu Cont on her third solo effort. The freshly leaked “Beautiful Nightmare” may be proof of this. I suspect this is a demo, but definitely leaning towards Madonna’s Confessions on a Dance Floor, also produced by Jacques lu Cont. If any of you have any information or strong opinions over the rumor, please share.

Justin Timberlake Remixed

Justin Timberlake Remixed mp3

After his sophomore album FutureSex/LoveSounds sold over 7 million copies world wide, Justin Timberlake is doing what every other superstar does once he realizes it has been long enough since his album released that people will buy it again if it had a few new tracks. “New”, of course, is used with all the laxness one could muster. The undiscerning fan will receive 3 wonderful remixes of some true Justin classics that will keep them content until his next release.

Lets Digest Some Top 40 Radio

Lets Digest Some Top 40 Radio mp3

Its about time we digest some pop radio. Let the hip-hop ringtone, err, song slaughter begin! No, but this is where I try to convince you Top 40 radio ain’t so bad.

The Top 20 has officially bored me, a guy can only take so much of Fergie, Timbaland, and Rihanna. I was certain these tired acts would disappear now that the summer’s over and the REAL music surfaced. I guess I was wrong. One of the only songs that still has me reaching for the volume dial is Maroon 5’s unbelievably catchy “Wake Up Call” sitting neatly at No. 10 between “Crank That” and “Ayo Technology”, naturally.

But in the obscure depths of the list hide some truly marvelous songs. At No. 24, Alicia Keys pledges her indefinite love for a nameless partner over thumping percussion on “No One”. A few spots down, Hollywood Records’ next Plain White T’s the Jonas Brothers crooning over high school heartbreak in the sleek, healthy, teen tune “SOS”. At No. 29, Justin Timberlake enlists Beyonce to help him grab his, count ‘em, sixth Top 40 single, and one of my favorite slow jams of 2007, “Until The End of Time”. And finally to sum up this most polished cut from modern radio, Santana’s new classic “Into The Night”, sung by Nickelback’s Chad Kroeger.

MP3 | Maroon 5 ft. Mary J. Blige – Wake Up Call (Mark Ronson Remix)
MP3 | Alicia Keys ft. Kanye West – No One (Remix)
MP3 | Justin Timberlake ft. Beyonce – Until The End Of Time (Sam 998899s
Sticking Edit)

MP3 | Jonas Brothers – SOS

UPDATE:

A 642-523 or a VCP-310 is not enough for ccda or even mcdst. You need an a+ in your microsoft certification to go ahead with mcse as well as other certifications.
