Boys Noize’s sophomore full-length effort, Power, finds Alexander Ridha expanding his palette, for better or for worse. The German DJ, whose name is often found (and rightly so) alongside such heavyweights of electro music as Justice and Daft Punk, strays slightly from the abusively focused push of Oi Oi Oi to create something more disparate, meandering, and still undeniably driving.

The peers of the new electronic movement have teamed up for the hottest BERLIN/LONDON connection on the dancefloor: EROL ALKAN & BOYS NOIZE present their first tracks on AUGUST 31st 2009, the forthcoming twelve inch and digital release “WAVES / DEATH SUITE”.

‘Waves’ is a top of the night Balearic/disco storm; ‘Death Suite’ is a more abstract, cut ‘n’ paste techno/acid rollercoaster. Both tracks were initially envisaged purely as battle weapons for Erol and Boys Noizes’ respective DJ sets, but the response has been such that a full release became inevitable. – Boys Noize

Alright, a lot of you left comments and emails asking me to podcast this years Best Remixes list, so here you have it. This is probably the only time I will have an episode of the pmaCAST be 100% remix. I know you have to be in a certain mood to listen to a remix, so I tend to steer clear from those in podcasts.
