New Chris Brown, Lil Wayne, Lupe Fiasco – Forever Remix

New Chris Brown, Lil Wayne, Lupe Fiasco Forever Remix listen I won’t lie, I have some sort of guilty love for mister Chris Brown. He’s sort of like the boy-version of Rihanna (I think he even wrote “Disturbia”). Figures that they’d be boning. Anyway, “Forever” is undoubtedly my favorite Chris Brown song ever and I probably downloaded this remix in record time, when I saw it. Lil Wayne and Lupe Fiasco on “Forever”? Jesus… it’s fantastic.

I sort of wish a vocoderfied Justin Timberlake (see: Can’t Believe It Official Remix) jumped on this track also.

Download the “Forever Remix” below! Continue reading →

New T-Pain and Chris Brown – Freeze

New T Pain and Chris Brown Freeze listenThe last time T-Pain and Chris Brown worked together, they were responsible for one of the most annoying songs of 2007 (only to be topped by Soulja Boy, of course). Though radio play (and yes, T-Pain) made “Kiss Kiss” unbearable, I forgave Chris Brown because of his excellent third and fourth singles (”With You” and “Forever”).

This time around Chris Brown is repaying T-Pain the favor and makes a not-so-subtle appearance on T-Pain’s on-and-off-again next single, “Freeze.” I talk a lot of smack about Kanye’s vocoder-fueled single — I can’t really say the same thing about T-Pain. He’s got that shit down. I just wouldn’t want to be their when the autotune spots.

With that said, this song’s production is pretty stellar (even the Justin Timberlake beat-boxing rip offs). This track is just missing the killer hook “Kiss Kiss” owned. Freeze, like me really doesn’t do it for me. Decide for yourself Continue reading →

DJ Eli & co. One-Ups Chris Brown

DJ Eli & co. One Ups Chris Brown mp3

I’m not a huge fan of Chris Brown. None of his material ever interested me. Everything that came from this kid always sounded too over the top, including this new single “Kiss Kiss” which features an equally annoying and overrated T-Pain. I’m still confused as to why this song is No. 1 in America this week, I’d take Soulja Boy over this fool any day. Almost as if he can somehow read my mind, DJ Eli whips out his spin of “Kiss Kiss” with buddies Doug Grayson and Wale.

The track’s slow, hollow instrumentals and sleek synthesizers and sirens flawlessly distract the listener of Brown’s vocal limitations and does well with T-Pains technocorded spins.

I am not completely convinced of the stability of this track as a whole. I can see it will do fantastically well in Urban radio, and apparently its a hit on iTunes. Which makes me a tad bit sad.

Its The 2007 VMAS, Bitch!

Its The 2007 VMAS, Bitch! music videos

I am sure most of you tuned in last night for MTV’s 2007 VMAS. If you didn’t you probably read the live blogging marathon a few blogs had going on. If you didn’t do that… well you didn’t miss much anyway. To catch a glimpse of the winners turn your pretty little heads over here. One of the coolest things about last night was that almost every single performance was horrible, but none stooped lower than Miss Britney “Trailer Trash” Spears, but more on that later. Thanks to a few helpful hands (thanks for the email Kevin, Rob, and Sammie) Pretty Much Amazing has compiled the Best and Worst Performances of last night’s VMA’s.

New Chris Brown – “Kiss, Kiss” feat. T-Pain

New Chris Brown Kiss, Kiss feat. T Pain mp3

PMA Rating: B
Here’s the newest from Chris Brown and his Exclusive out later this year. The new track, “Kiss, Kiss” is less melodic than “Wall To Wall” or “Run It!”, but evens out to a smooth bumping club (soon to be)hit.Chris brings along T-Pain’s synth hypeness to flood the track’s hooks giving it a “dirty south” flavor. Personally, I think someone as talented as Chris Brown shouldn’t let T-Pain (no matter how hot his music is right not) swallow up the hook whole.
