“First Train Home,” our first ethereal look into Imogen Heap’s Ellipse, showed us an artist that had grown without tearing down her roots. On “Canvas,” is more of the same beauty.
The best part of the song is its steady build up. It’s so subtle, you hardly feel it — but it’s definitely there.
