If you haven’t noticed, I’ve been slacking around here for almost a week now. Let’s just say I was gone — but I’m back now and I’m going to make it all up to you. Here I will post some of the more interesting new tracks that have surfaced while I was gone. Read on if you’re interested in any of these tracks:

Mickey Factz ft. Kid Cudi – Do My Do

Mickey Factz ft. Kid Cudi Do My Do listen
Now this is something I can really sink my into. Mickey Factz and Kid Cudi are two of my favorite new players in the game and the production on “Do My Do” is straight fire; it’s really something you don’t hear every day. Wale can take some notes on that front.

These two guys collaborating together might be one of the more exciting things to come from hip-hop in a while. Listen to “Do My Do” right here Continue reading →

Mickey Factz – Sensibility

Mickey Factz Sensibility listen

I can’t really get enough of this guy. Mickey Factz has been making some real music lately, and “Sensibility” only adds to the elevation of the bar his debut album, The Achievement must meet. I’m a sucker for piano samples and the loop he used on this track is fantastic.

Mickey Factz covers all of his bases here; “Sensibility” is pretty much the first great recession song I’ve heard and then here he is in his new Honda commercial. Grab “Sensibility” after the vid.

Mickey Factz – Rapio 2 point OH! + New Cage!

Mickey Factz Rapio 2 point OH! + New Cage! listen

Mickey Factz – Rapio 2 point OH!

Mickey Factz is one of the most recognizable and respected faces of hip-hop’s new school. His original sound and habit for giving away tons of free music has brought many fans and loads of attention his way. Recent accolades include a cover feature in XXL and a sold out show at SOB’s in NYC. His resume already runs deep but he’s looking to reach the mainstream with the release of his debut album, The Achievement, this year. It’s hard to keep up with his nearly constant stream of free music, but the man responsible for making Supra sneakers popular just dropped another pretty hot track. Upbeat and club ready. I give you “Rapio 2 Point Oh.” Enjoy the song and look out for his Honda commercial sometime this month. Continue reading →
